New visa rules for Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan has abolished visa requirements for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain from February 15, 2026 to February 15, 2027.
Citizens of these countries can enter Azerbaijan 3 times without a visa during the specified period and stay up to 30 days on each entry. Those wishing to stay for purposes other than tourism or for a long period of time must obtain an appropriate visa.
Also, third-country nationals with temporary or permanent residence permits with a validity period of at least 6 months, issued by the relevant state institutions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, have the opportunity to obtain a single-entry 30-day tourist visa at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the relevant period.
